In a nutshell, we’re looking for people to share their hacks, experience and passion for all things that fall under the “modern leadership” umbrella.
You don’t need to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company or have a billion dollars in the bank (although, we’d be interested in hearing how you accomplished both if you do!) – you just need to have your fingers on the proverbial pulse in the leadership world, while having a knack for putting your thoughts into well-flowing words! (Our editor specifically asked us to include this last caveat!).
And In Terms Of Style…
- Articles should be between 800-1500 words in length. To make them easy to read (and appeal to all those skim-readers) please ensure you break your article up with subheadings and bullets where appropriate, and give your article a headline.
- When writing, inject stories, metaphors, humor or punchy language into your article where possible. We’re after really engaging content, rather than academic-styled reports!
- Please use American English, and then thoroughly check your article for flow, as well as any grammar and spelling mistakes (please don’t press that submit button until you have re-read it many times!).
- Links to other authority websites are welcome if they complement your article by referring to useful information, for example, a link to some research that was published on Forbes website.
- Please attach a bio so we can promote you! We recommend keeping your personal bio to a MAX of 200 words. You’ll get to include 2 personal web links here (social media pages are also okay if you don’t have a website). But please note: while we’re happy to link to your personal website or social media pages to promote you, we can’t link to sales pages or products.
- Please include a headshot picture of yourself looking at the camera that’s no smaller than 300 x 300 pixels, and in high resolution.
And lastly… while we’ll polish your article to fit with our style and tone, we’re unable to do big re-writes if your article isn’t quite up to scratch. So to ensure your chances of getting published, please follow the guidelines above.
And In Exchange For Your Article…
- At the bottom of your article, you’ll have a bio box to promote yourself and experience, which will also contain up to two links to your personal website or social media pages.
- We’ll share and promote your article on our social media pages (to over 28k+ fans!) once we’ve published it.
So if you’d like to share your leadership insights with the world and become one of our talented contributors so Inspiring Leadership Now becomes THE place to learn, evolve and grow as a leader, send your article to contact@inspiringleadershipnow.com.
